Fast Ways to Immigrate to Canada
Fast Ways to Immigrate to Canada
For most people considering moving to another country, Canada is at or near the top of the list. Canada is one of the safest countries in the world. Canada also boasts a high number of available jobs and a strong desire for immigrants. In fact, the Canadian government has recently announced that it plans to accept over one million immigrants in the next three years. If you are considering starting a new life in a wonderful place to live, these are some fast ways to immigrate to Canada.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
Canada’s federal government is not the country’s only source of immigration programs. Canada’s 13 individual provinces and territories (except Quebec) manage unique immigration programs. These are known as Provincial Nominee Programs or PNPs. PNPs are designed to help provinces seek immigrants based on their unique economic needs. PNPs do this by letting provinces nominate applicants for permanent residency. PNPs often seek out skilled workers in areas that are urgently needed in the province. A recent example is Saskatchewan, which has changed its PNP to seek out computer programmers as a high-need occupation. There are almost 80 individual PNPs in Canada and all have their own eligibility criteria, but any one of them could potentially be your fastest route to Canada.
Study Abroad
Canada is one of the most popular countries in the world for study abroad programs. Canada has many top schools offering affordable tuition rates and a welcoming atmosphere for immigrants. Canada makes it quite simple for foreign students to apply for permanent residence status after they have finished their education. This leads many foreign students to begin their immigration process by getting an education in Canada and applying for permanent residence afterward.
Express Entry Programs
Canada’s Express Entry system is designed to assist skilled workers who desire to move to Canada more quickly to immigrate. The system’s immigration programs are designed to help these permanent residents settle as soon as possible to begin working. Express Entry ranks applicants using a points system based on their personal profile, which includes their education, work history, age, language skills, and more. Express Entry selects the top-ranking candidates to invite to immigrate to Canada. The program also enables permanent residents to bring family members when they immigrate. Out of all the Canadian government’s permanent residence programs, Express Entry is the shortest. Applications are processed as quickly as possible, with 80 percent being finished in less than six months.
Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) Program
Unveiled in 2017, the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) Program is designed to bring in more foreign workers to the country’s Atlantic Region. Under the AIP, employers located in the Atlantic Region can hire foreign workers. If a foreign worker is offered a job from one of these employers, they are given support through the immigration process and they move to Canada. To be eligible for AIP, you need to have a job offer from one of the employers designated in the program.
