Northwest Territories PNP
The Northwest Territories is a vast and populous province in Canada. It has 40,000 people and one million square kilometers of land. There are many opportunities for people to come to the Northwest Territories and work or start a business.
The Northwest Territories Nominee Program is a way to become Canadian citizens. It gives them an opportunity through PNP programs.
The NTNP is a program that helps skilled, semi-skilled and low-skilled workers come to the North. It targets them through employer-driven immigration streams. The other program, its business-driven counterpart, seeks entrepreneurs and business owners from all sectors to create new businesses in the North.

The immigration streams include:
1. Northwest Territories Express Entry
Northwest Territories Express Entry The stream gives skilled workers in the Express Entry pool a faster way to become permanent residents. They must have an offer from an eligible employer in NWT.
Connection to Northwest Territories
Most applications accepted to this stream are from temporary foreign workers in the Northwest Territories. Applicants working in the Northwest Territories must demonstrate legal status to work in Canada.
Job Offer
Candidates must have a full-time job offer from an eligible Northwest Territories employer. The position must be at National Occupation Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, or B.
Language Proficiency
Candidates must submit language test results demonstrating language proficiency sufficient for their job offer skill level in either English or French. For positions classified as Skill Level 0 and A, candidates must demonstrate proficiency at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 6 in all four language abilities. For jobs classified as Skill Level B, must demonstrate proficiency at CLB level 5 in all four language abilities
Work Experience
Candidates must have at least one year of full-time experience in the same occupation as the job offer.

2. Northwest Territories Employer Driven
The Northwest Territories Employer Driven streams are for people with experience in occupations classified as NOC Skill Level 0, A, B, C, or D. They are supposed to have a full-time job offer from a qualified employer.
Qualified immigrant workers with a job proposal from a related company of the province are asked to apply for Canadian permanent residency through one of the Employer Driven programs of the nomination program of Northwest Territories (NTNP). The following programs are:
- NT Critical Impact Workers
- NT Skilled Workers
- NT Express Entry

NT Express Entry
The Northwest Territories EE program gives a pathway to continual residency for applicants in the EE pool with a job proposal from a Northwest Territories company.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements to apply quickly.
- The bulk of applications received to this program is from temporary immigrant employers in the province.
- Applicants serving in the province must describe that they have decent status to work in Canada.
- Applicants must have a full-time job proposal from an acceptable company. The rank must be at NOC work level 0, A, or B.
- Applicants must provide language test results describing their language ability is adequate for their work offer in both English and French. The candidate must obtain CLB 6 for NOC 0 or A jobs or CLB 5 for NOC B type jobs.
- All applicants must have enough education or specialization to complete the job offer they have been introduced.
- Claimants must have a minimum of one year of full-time practice in the same profession as the job proposal.

NT Skilled Workers
With a high need for experienced workers to fill blocks in the northern Canadian labour business, this program awards provincial nominations to qualified workers with NOC 0, A, or B.
Eligibility Requirements

- Applicants must have a full-time, stable job offer from the Northwest Territories company. The job proposal must be at NOC skill level 0, A, or B.
- Candidates need to present language test results describing language proficiency as adequate for the experience level of their job proposal in either English or French. The candidate must obtain CLB 6 for NOC 0 or A jobs or CLB 5 for NOC B type jobs.
- All applicants must have enough education or specialization to achieve the job offer.

NT Critical Impact Workers
NTNP Critical Impact Worker program points out international citizens with expertise in skilled and unskilled professions in northern Canada.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements for applying quickly.
- Applicants must currently operate in an occupation categorized as NOC work level C or D in the province. They must have been serving in this profession for at least 1 year.
- Applicants must have a full-time, stable job offer from the modern company in their current state.
- Candidates have to describe their language ability in English or French according to CLB 4. Results from an official language test will confirm language ability.
- While there is no minimum education grade, applicants must have all the educational documents needed to perform the job offered.
- Applicants should have at least 6 months working in the same NOC C or D rank for the same company offering the job proposal.
- Candidates for this stream must confirm adequate settlement funds for themself and their families. A minimum of 10,000$ CAD for the primary and leading applicant and an additional 2,000$ CAD for each member.

3. Northwest Territories Business Driven
The Northwest Territories Business Driven streams are for people who want to start a new business. They provide opportunities wishing for the best.
The program that accepts applications from all economic sectors will prioritize those that benefit the Northwest Territories economy or introduce new products. So, take it into account while applying.
Northwest Territories Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurs who wish to establish, purchase, or invest in a Northwest Territories business in any economic sector may be eligible for provincial nomination through the NTNP Entrepreneur stream.
Applicants will be required to submit a business plan for the proposed business. Priority will be given to businesses that introduce a new product or those that provide significant benefits to the Northwest Territories.
