Successful candidates for the EE. Skilled worker classification receives a BC PNP rural appointment certificate. 600 extra CRS points are granted when uploaded to the EE profile, accompanied by an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for constant residence.

Requirements of Federal Economic Immigration Programs

Candidates under the federal economic immigration programs must meet a mandatory language proficiency level and demonstrate sufficient funds to support themselves and their families upon arrival in Canada. Additionally, candidates eligible under the Federal Skilled Worker Program are required to submit the results of an Educational Credential Assessment.

British Columbia Express Entry skilled worker category

The Skilled Worker category within the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) stream is designed for international skilled workers possessing post-secondary education or training, along with employment experience in a professional, management, technical, trade, or other skilled occupation. Eligible candidates must have their occupation classified under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) matrix as skill level 0, A, or B.

To claim for this stream, candidates must possess the following skills:

  • You must be qualified for one of the governmental business immigration streams, FSW, FST, or CEC
  • Then create an express entry profile.
  • You should have a full-time permanent job related to your skills in BC, according to NOC.
  • Qualify to serve in the job suggested.
  • You must have a salary offer in line with BC salary rates for the profession.
  • Also, you have at least two years of relevant work experience, prove they can maintain themselves and their dependents, and satisfy the least language conditions according to the requirements of the governmental immigration program.
  • Occupations classified as Skill Level 0, A, or B in the NOC matrix.
  • Education: applicable credentials or qualifications.
