Eligibility Requirements

To get eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements for applying quickly.

  • To qualify for the Skilled Worker in PEI program, candidates must reside and serve on a legitimate work license in PEI. Skilled workers not being in Canada may be suitable for the PEI Express Entry programs.
  • Applicants must have a full-time, stable job offer from a company in PEI. The rank must be assigned as NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B.
  • Candidates need to explain that they have enough language ability in English or French to complete their job duties. This can be described through an approved language test showing ability compatible with CLB level 4.
  • Applicants must have at least achieved a two-year post-secondary degree or credentials.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work practice in the past 5 years.

Immigrate to PEI as a worker – Skilled Workers Outside Canada

Foreign operators who are currently outside of the province and have gained a NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B rank from an eligible company may be qualified to practice for this program of the PEI PNP.

To get eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements for applying quickly.

  • To be qualified, applicants must have a full-time, stable job offer from a company in PEI. The rank must be classified as NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B. The companies making the job offer must have communicated with the PEI immigration agency and recommended the job offer.
  • Applicants need to explain that they have sufficient language ability in English or French to perform their job responsibilities. This can be confirmed through an approved language test displaying proficiency regular with CLB level 4.
  • Candidates must have at least finished a two-year post-secondary degree or graduation.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work practice in the past 5 years.

Immigrate to PEI as a worker – Critical Worker

Foreign operators with a minimum of 2 years of relevant practice in semi-experienced and inexperienced professions may be available to implement this PEI PNP stream.

To get eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements for applying quickly.

  • To be suitable, applicants must have operated in PEI for a minimum of 6 months before the PEI company makes the business offer. The applicant must have a solid work license allowing them to work for the PEI company.
  • Candidates must have a stable, full-time job proposal from their current PEI company. The job offer must be according to NOC Skill Level C or D profession.
  • All applicants must have valid language test results confirming proficiency in English or French compatible with CLB level 4.
  • Applicants must have at least finished secondary school.
  • Applicants must have at least 2 years of job experience or education appropriate to their job proposal in the previous 5 years.

Application Procedure

The application procedure is the same for all of the streams, which are given below.

Once an invitation is accepted, the candidate has 14 days to appeal for nomination. If the province agrees with the application, Ontario will inform the candidate chosen for provincial nomination.

After receiving a provincial proposal, a candidate must submit a governmental application for Canadian permanent residency. Candidates in this program must finish and submit a paper-based application. Paper-based PNP requests for permanent residency are treated within 18 months.
