Quebec’s Permanent Immigration Pilot For Orderlies

The Pilot Program for orderlies is one of Quebec‘s new three pilot programs (QIPP’s). Quebec’s permanent immigration pilot for orderlies is for foreign workers who are working in Quebec as orderlies, nurses aides, or patient service associates.

This pilot program started being in effect on March 31, 2021, and will close on January 1, 2026.

The Quebec immigration pilot program for orderlies is accepting 600 applicants in 2021, not including accompanying family members. Successful applicants will be able to apply for Canadian permanent resident status along with their accompanying family members.

Eligibility & Requirements

To be eligible for Quebec Permanent Immigration Pilot Programs (QPIPP’S),  you must :

  1. Be at least 18 years old;
  2. Show that you can financially provide for yourself and your family for at least three months.
  3. Plan to reside in Quebec for employment within a company where you don’t hold any direct or indirect legal or practical control;
  4. Fulfill the requirements for staying in Quebec;
  5. Demonstrate a French proficiency at level 7 (advanced intermediate) according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrantes adultes or an equivalent standard.

You also need to have successfully completed the Institutional and Home Care Assistance study program and graduated with a secondary diploma in vocational studies.

The applicant, who meets the program’s conditions, can submit an application for permanent selection and obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ).
