Express Entry Labour Market – New Brunswick
(EELMS) also known as the Express Entry Labour Market of New Brunswick, is one of the PNP programs managed by the province of New Brunswick. This stream was invented to point out high-skilled foreign applicants who can commit to the economics of the province.
Victorious candidates to the EE Labour Market stream receive 600 extra CRS points, efficiently inviting them to join Canadian permanent residency from the Express Entry pool.
Requirements For Express Entry Labour Market
To get eligible for this stream, you must follow these requirements for applying quickly.
- This stream is arranged with the governmental EE policy. To be recognized, applicants must have a compelling EE profile. It should be considered that applicants must meet the qualification criteria for the FSW stream to be available for this program.
- All applicants must confirm language ability in English or French compatible with CLB level 7.
- Applicants must have minimum education comparable to a Canadian high school diploma or a foreign equivalent.
- Applicants must gather a minimum of 1 year of full-time and constant work practice in a profession recognized as NOC work rank 0, A, or B.
- The age of the nominees must be between 22 and 55.
- The candidate must score 67 points on the point assessment grid.
- Applicants must satisfy the settlement reserves necessary as described by IRCC. This can be expressed through their economics or through supporting a legitimate offer of a job.
- Applicants must be qualified to present an EOI to the program. The conditions to present EOI are different from the ability requirements of the program and change frequently.
- Qualify for one of three federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker, the Federal Skilled Trades, or the Canadian Experience Class.
- Show enough financial resources to fulfill the settlement fund requirements.
- With Express Entry, applicants can take benefit from the 6-month standard processing times of employment.
- The total fee for entering this program is CAD 250.

Application Process
New Brunswick Invitation Process
New Brunswick directly invites applications for permanent residence from the federal Express Entry pool if they meet provincial labor market needs.
Letter of Interest
If invited to apply, you will receive a Letter of Interest. To be eligible for permanent residency through Express Entry, you must secure 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
Provincial Nomination Criteria
To qualify for provincial nomination, you must score at least 67 points on the New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream points grid.
Profile Assessment
Your profile will undergo assessment based on factors including age, education level, work experience, job offer, language proficiency, etc.
Register in INB and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Express Entry Stream
Once your EOI is successfully submitted, contact us at entree.express.entry@gnb.ca with the subject line: NB LOI.
Include in your message:
– Your full name, as it appears in your INB profile.
– A pdf copy or screenshot of the Letter of Interest that you received to your Federal Express Entry account.
– Your federal Express Entry Profile Number (E00*******).
Once we verify your LOI and acknowledge receipt of your message, we will then send you an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream via your INB Notification Centre.
All candidates invited in this manner must meet the regular eligibility requirements of the program and submit a complete and correct application to be considered for provincial nomination.
Ineligibility criteria for this stream
- Application in another immigration program: Currently applied for another immigration program.
- Occupation Classification: Work in an occupation classified as Skill level C (intermediate jobs) or D (labor jobs) on the NOC code.
- Legal Status: Lack legal status in your current country of residence.
- Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds claim:
- Have an unresolved humanitarian and compassionate grounds claim in Canada.
- Previously had a claim for humanitarian and compassionate grounds rejected.
- Refugee Status:
- Are a refugee claimant.
- Had your refugee claim rejected.
- Removal order or inadmissibility: Issued a removal order or are inadmissible from entering Canada.
- Full-Time Study or Work Permit:
- Engaged in a full-time study program.
- Hold a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit for an occupation classified as Skill level C or D on the NOC code.
- Live-in Caregiver: Currently employed as a live-in caregiver.
- Employment Status:
- Engaged as a seasonal, part-time, or casual worker.
- Currently employed in an occupation outside New Brunswick.
- Business Intentions: Intend to establish a business in the province or are self-employed.
- Financial Resources: Unable to demonstrate financial resources to support yourself.
